Alzheimer’s disease doesn’t stop… and neither do we!

Since the age of 11, I have made Alzheimer’s disease my personal cause, having lost my grandmother to the disease. In 2014, I created my own company, LEILANI LIVE, and organized and produced A GIFT TO REMEMBER, An Alzheimer’s Benefit Concert, where 100% of the proceeds went to the Alzheimer’s Association. Over the years I have continued to be involved by producing these concerts, forming the LEILANI LIVE SKATES Walk Team and spearheading fundraising efforts at my middle school and high school.

This disease affects families so profoundly day in and day out that each year I do whatever I can to help my loved ones, my community and all of the caregivers and researchers so that someday we will all live in “A World Without Alzheimer’s”.

What is Alzheimer’s?

Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia, a general term for memory loss and other cognitive abilities serious enough to interfere with daily life. The majority of people with Alzheimer’s are 65 or older, however, there are approximately 200,00 Americans under the age of 65 with early-onset Alzheimer’s.

Currently there is no cure for the disease, but treatments for symptoms are available and research continues.

Alzheimer’s Care

With our donations, the Alzheimer’s Association funds research to find a cure, and helps to support caregivers and families who have a loved one with the disease.

Let’s END ALZ together!
